ST. LAKE CITY, UT – Patrick Rummerfield, the first fully functional quadriplegic in the history of medicine, and Miller Motorsports Park have announced that they have joined forces to develop a program designed to allow wounded veterans to experience the thrill and excitement of racetrack driving.

At the recent National Guard ADRL Final V in Ennis, Texas, Patrick Rummerfield achieved another “World’s First”, by becoming the first fully functional spinal cord injury (SCI) quadriplegic in history to successfully race in a professional motorsport. The Eric Westacott Foundation announced today that it has teamed with Patrick Rummerfield and the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation to donate the proceeds of the upcoming Golf Classic Tournament to the rehabilitation of 11-year old quadriplegic Alex Malarkey and provide young Alex with a state of the art RT300 Functional Electrical Stimulus (FES) bike.
